I could have waited for a finished game.

I've waited 30 years for this game. I could have waited 1 or 2 more years.

My user name reflects a magical time I had playing bards tale 3. (I unexpectedly was able to SBPI Brilhasti, and I thought I broke the game)

But BT4 crashes to desktop on every long fight.

The music is Beautiful! Puzzles are interesting.

But the graphics are from 2004, at best, honestly. And I can't stand the constant crashing. I'm on a high end system and I have to crank the settings down.

I wish you had waited until the game was finished.

From what I've read elsewhere, inXile did commission a testing studio (Testronic) who said the game was fit for release.

Not a good look for inXile or Testronic.

You need outside eyes on a project, but only for giving observations. Final testing should have been in-house with a fine toothed comb.

(*But do we know that this wasn't the case?)

I haven't been having any crashes, but I have put the game aside for now. I'm going to wait until the major patches are finished. I opted to go with GOG and the delayed patches on that platform (not GOGs fault) lead to making a choice between playing unpatched during the weekend and risking bugs or waiting for the GOG patches and delaying my play time The experience has soured me a little and I have other games I can play.

I hope they learn from this release before Wasteland 3 is ready.

Sorry to hear that. Yes indeed, the game is still in beta state currently.

I kinda feel bad now.
Despite my frustrated tone, I hope Brian and the InXile team succeed.
There's a lot of Gold to be found in old games, that can be brought back to life.

I've had no issues running the game at all and I'm 27 hours in. I've really enjoyed it. Go see Pathfinder Kingmaker forums if you want to see about bugs.
