Official word on upgrade paths from Standard to higher tier?
Has there been any yet?
All I've seen so far is inXiles feverishly redirecting people to that 3rd party site for the "Deluxe" items when non-backers who purchased Premium, Platinum or Ultimate on GoG or Steam have easy access to the extras through the respective libraries along with the base game.
Any plans to subsequently hand out "upgrade path" keys, as was the case when backers of TTON only received keys for the bog standard edition despite being eligible for the Immortal Edition?

Thanks for the suggestion! The topic has come up and I can definitely pass things up the chain.

The codes are the same for everyone. Everyone who got the Four backer items. Anyone buying the game for $20 bargain bin, can enter it. They didn't even take the time to give backers their exclusive content. This has moved to a new level of fraud. NOBODY should be buying any version other than Standard, and InXile needs to open refunds at this point. I don't care if this game ends up being good... they literally scammed us.
Yes, there are public posts of these " Backer Codes ", and they are the same . It's ONE generic code.
This is on the top of unethical behavior of the decade here.

Well?
Or is a week later still too early to at least confirm that it's being looked into and discussed?
The keys for the upgrade to the Immortal Edition of TTON had already been given out by that time, If I recall correctly.

It's still being looked into and I bumped it earlier today. Thanks for your patience.

It's good to hear that this is being investigated. I'd really appreciate my add-ons on GOG instead of CrowdOx.
@sear: Can you please also ask if it's possible to get the soundtrack in FLAC? Thanks!

The soundtrack is in FLAC format on Steam. Working on getting them added to the GOG extras and for CrowdOx backers too.

Yeah, I'd really like to buy the soundtrack as a separate DLC or individual upgrade if possible; I have no interest in buying the whole game again just for that, though. Thanks!

The MP3 version is on Spotify if you want to stream it.Hieronymous Alloy wrote: ↑September 26th, 2018, 7:49 amYeah, I'd really like to buy the soundtrack as a separate DLC or individual upgrade if possible; I have no interest in buying the whole game again just for that, though. Thanks!

I want to actually buy it! Old people like me still buy albums! We even sometimes call them albums!
Joking aside I don't want to set up Spotify / want to put it on my phone. In the meanwhile I've just been setting Youtube to play Julie Fowlis on autoplay.

Is there still a chance for the upgrade paths to be available BEFORE the inevitable shift of focus to Win10/Windows Store-exclusive, ported-from-console games-as-a-service products?
Like a farewell gift?
Thanks.

I've broached the topic, FYI. Not sure if/when it will happen, but I've let it be known that it's something folks are asking for.

Re: Official word on upgrade paths from Standard to higher tier?
Any chance for those upgrades to become available BEFORE the Director's Cut hits stores in June?
I'd really like to finally redeem that extra key for the Bog-Standard Edition and be able to upgrade it to Premium, Platinum or Ultimate Edition before that key possibly(?) becomes unredeemable because it's been replaced by the Director's Cut Edition.
If that's still not possible (for "reasons") how about bundling all the digital extras in one neat package and sell that separate from the base game?
Like so (minus the digital copy of the game and the extras that come with the Standard Edition anyway, obviously):

Or sell the digital extras in tiered bundles (corresponding to Premium, Platinum and Ultimate) as well.

We're looking into it. I'm hopeful it will happen.
