This. Of course, I didn't have my first modem until after I had already played and beaten BT1.
Not that I remember. Not saying it was easy mind you - I do remember taking days to solve some of the harder riddles. I also remember meeting fellow gamers, talking about games we had played and getting an amazed reaction that I completed BT2 because no one knew anyone who had done that so there probably was not a lot of help on our local (I do not live in the USA) BBSs back then anyway.
My first functional modem was a screaming fast 4800.
In 3,5 hours. 16:00 MEZ (German time) - according to Steam.
Tbh the Steam / GOG keys could have been distributed as soon as it was added to those sites. That was about a week ago I think? We could have activated the game and it wouldn't have affected when we could download it, but we could have all been ready.balinor wrote: ↑August 14th, 2018, 6:32 am So here's the thing, in less than an hour The Bard's Tale trilogy goes live for sale on Steam and GOG. So surely the sensible thing to do would have been to sort out the keys YESTERDAY. Seriously, did Inxile hire someone just to make sure the ball was dropped on everything to do with this project?
