If it's like our past Kickstarters, then when the time comes to claim your BT4 game code, you will have the option of generating either a Steam or GOG code. No worries.

And thank you for the feedback!

Ditto on the error. Got to the portal survey, but the form won't save. "Internal server error"

I don't know if it's related to the above, but to log the data point: I'm on Firefox 55.0.2 (64-bit) + a bunch of extensions, on Ubuntu, where it worked when I tried. But maybe it worked for some other reason than the browser version, such as the timing of when I tried, and it would also fail for me if I tried it again now.

(I stopped updating FF until the V57 extension situation stabilizes, so still back on 55 here).

Most people have been able to log in and go through the process without hassle, but we're chatting with CrowdOx now to look into the problem that TheBruce and some others have been reporting. Will post here if we think the issue has been addressed so the affected users can try again.

Worked without any issue here, I confirmed my pledge with no error.

Just worked fine for me with new FF57, maybe the server error is related to the backer pledge level, rather than browser? Or maybe an error writing backer quotes to the DB when they contain characters that break the SQL?

anything to Steam as I'm trying to move away from Steam these days, to GOG.)
I believe it's good news on that front: the kickstarter page said:
Built using Unreal Engine 4, for PC, Mac and Linux. Available from Steam, or DRM-Free from GOG.com or The Humble Store
So they'll have some way to get it from our choice of those stores. That was a requirement for me before I decided to back: if it had been Steam-only, then I would have stayed away. +1 to InXile for supporting DRM-free distribution.
Yes, the only reason I used Steam for Tides is because they sort of dragged their feet getting it to GOG--but for Wasteland 2 I waited for the GOG release and it's been fine. Now that GOG has Galaxy out of beta--finally--the upgrades for D: OS2, for instance, came through Galaxy at the same time as they were released on Steam...! (GOG's manual updates have always been days slower.) I use Galaxy to update my GOG games now, but run them all from the native executable, by-passing Galaxy. Works nicely! And, you can still use the manual downloads to obtain your installable copies of your games, too--something that Steam doesn't offer at all.

BTW, I agree with your comment about the mysterious switch to Crowd-Ox--really made no sense to me as the original system performed fine for me and I had no problems with it. I would have thought the time to switch would have been post BTIV, myself...;) But, the game won't launch until next year, so as long as everything comes out alright in the end it should be fine. The new interface is much better than the old one, but the old one worked and so far the new one isn't working for me--it correctly identifies my KS tier--but that's it--generates a server error if I try and go beyond the first page.

Tried again, still got the error. But, when I loaded the survey page from the email this time, the fields I had to fill out were pre-filled. So it looks like it did save. But it's still returning the same internal server error when I hit "Save & Continue to Extras".

The survery didn't contain a question asking if you wanted the game on GOG or Steam, will that come later?

Yes. When it's time to distribute the game, that's when you'll have the choice.

Also, I'm told that the Internal Server Error should be fixed, so if you are had that problem, give it another try.

Finished the survey, using FireFox 55.

I would have preferred the option to pay for certified shipping.
