Welcome to the Wasteland 3 PC Bug Report Forums! Before posting, please review this guide.
Introduction and Basics
This forum is intended specifically for bugs, not for feedback, balance suggestions, or to discuss game design.
Our developers will be regularly monitoring this forum, but responses aren’t guaranteed. More specifically, inXile’s devs will not likely respond to a particular thread unless more information about the reported bug is required for our own internal testing.
When reporting a bug, please make a separate thread for each bug you find. Threads that contain multiple bugs are more difficult for us to sort through.
As ever, please be sure to use the Search feature to see what bugs are posted and find if the bug you want to report has already been posted. If there is an thread about the topic, feel free to continue the report there in that same thread. If you have created a duplicate thread, we may lock the thread and point to the original post.
Please ensure your post title (Subject) contains an accurate and succinct description of the bug.
• Good Subject example: Kodiak Not Damaging Non-Humans
• Bad Subject example: Kodiak Sucks
When posting a bug, please begin with a one or two sentence Summary that attempts to accurately describe the bug.
• Good summary example: The Kodiak does not cause any damage when I drive over non-human enemies.
• Bad summary example: Kodiak is bugged.
After your Summary, please include as much relevant information as possible, including how you encountered the issue and what steps we can use to reproduce the issue.
If you can, please screenshot the issue and upload the screenshot to an image hosting site (imgur). You are encouraged to share the link to that image in your thread.
Your Saved Game File and Player Log
As a general rule of thumb, it will be helpful for you to know how to access your save files outside of the game as well as your player log. In the event that we respond to your thread, we may ask you to provide the following information through our support portal:
- Your Wasteland 3 Save (from where the issue occurred). To retrieve that file, please view the following folder: users\yourname\docs\my games\wasteland3
- Your Wasteland 3 Log File. To retrieve that file, please view the following folder: C:\Users\yourname\AppData\LocalLow\InxileEntertainment\Wasteland3
You will not need to post the information from these logs in your Forum thread, but for persistent issues, you should keep these files on hand in case they are requested by us.
Following these guidelines will help us to ensure that reported bugs are done so in a way that can help our Developers, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support assist you in the most efficient manner possible. Thank you for playing and for your support!
