Better Tactical Party Spliting

During the course of playing Wasteland, I never perceived any time where you party was given an advantage by splitting up and thus only did during the times in the Sleeper and Cochise when the game puzzles forced you too. While I loved the Android head and these other moments that you had to split the party, I would like see more moments where the party splitting, even if its stylistic to your own preference of combat, should more effectively change how the battle plays out. Fallout Tactics had a system that was fun to use, perhaps a similar version of this
