Before I put my money - I need to know.

Whole concept is beautiful.
I would love to support u with my caps,but... before I do that - I really need to know:

Whats the final-official authors standing on top-down vs isometric view?
Personally top-down is a little game-breaker for me :( I wont put my caps if thats gona be the final decision.
Fallout perspective was just perfect for RPG game.
If the answer gona be: its top-down -> at least show what kind of top-down u have on ur mind. There are really a lot of variations of top-down, some of them are awful, some not that bad.

cheers.

Many gamers prefer isometric over top-down view, but nothing is confirmed yet.

in kickstarter and some other places in interwebs fargo always talked about top-down. i really hope that he doesn't mean 90° perpendicular perspective.

Even Wasteland was not top-down in the 90-degrees-perpendicular perspective, so I do not imagine that is what he means by top-down. I think he is just making it clear to everyone without a shadow of a doubt that this will not be a first-person shooter. :)

I've always understood topdown to just mean that the camera is in a bird's eye position, not implying the exact angle.
