Code Wheel items

Post by ZanZan » September 20th, 2018, 1:11 am

I finally managed to assembly my codewheel in photoshop, and I'm being asked to get a baked potato and something else that should be crafted. However, I cannot seem to find anyone selling that recipe - does someone know where it is being sold?

It might be a recipe that you already have. Some recipes don't require any crafting skills and are automatically learned. Do you know which one it was?

Yes, a baked potato. I checked and I don't have that.

I have bread, broth and a few others - no baked potato.

I run into the same thing where it wants things that I haven't come across yet. I figure that it's meant to be something that you go back later in the game to complete.

Then again, sometimes it just doesn't accept the items anyways. There are at least two where it doesn't like any combination of the four items from the code wheel.

So has anyone found that damn recipe yet? I need a baked potatoe.

Also, did anyone figure out the riddle with the turtle shell in the swell? I simply can't think of any objects that would fit that one. Except if there's actual turtle shells in the game, but that wouln't be much of a riddle then...

Still haven't found the baked potato recipe, and now I also need "beast and cabbage" and in order to make most things I need cooking herbs, which I cannot seem to find either.

You craft cooking herbs yourself from common plants, so that one's easy enough to get.

I'm stumped on the cabbage/beast as well. Cabbage and meat didn't work, but wth does cabbage beast mean?

hello, you'll get 4 recipe when you'll go to the island so if you don't have the recipe, it's probably there.
I'm sorry I can't remember what those recipe were because I have a terrible memory...
But I did finished all the Code Wheel Altars after returning from the island.

Where is the turtle shell riddle?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it. I'd recommend that anyone doing this save before hand in case you'd rather have the old item than the new. The new one takes away a mastery slot that I'd rather have on my Bard.

Took the map from game-maps.com since I'm not near this area for now.

FYI, there will only ever be two items required, if you think it's 4 then you're using the code wheel incorrectly (I did the same thing at first).

The way it works, the middle wheel lines up with the symbol on the moon side of the offering altar (the full moon symbol lines up with whichever way the crescent moon is facing), and the smaller top wheel lines up with the left hand symbol. Hope that helps...
