Lost spell slot after redoing skills

Post by Prethen » January 14th, 2020, 12:33 pm

I realize this is a novice issue, but I don't know what exactly happened. My wizard had four (4) mastered spell slots, but after reconfiguring his skills I went down to three (3). What must have I done to do that and how do I regain another spell slot to use during battles? TIA

Need more information. What skills were removed, what equipment was changed, etc.

Actually, I couldn't tell you offhand which exact skills/equipment I switched around. I'm more interested in finding out what drives the number of mastered skill slots that are allowed during battles. Most of my characters have 4 (options) while my wizard used to have 4 and now only has 3. What's the driver behind that?

Maybe you equipped an item that grants a mastery, occupying a slot?

ZZGO, I guess that's possible. For whatever reason, I'm still a little floundered by how some of the logic is set up so I should probably look a bit more into what/how mastery works. Thanks.
