For when we release the backer alpha, this will be the place to discuss it.

I'm sure the fault is mine, but I can't seem to find where to download the alpha. I received an email with the code for alpha test access but it had no link, nor did the CrowdOx page that lists all of my backing perks, nor could I find it on this site.

It's a Steam key. You need to use the Steam game client and activate the key on your account. Details here: https://inxile.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/art ... Steam-keys

Today is one of those days when I realize even Gigabit internet isn't fast enough. Anxiously waiting for my download to finish so I can fire it up.

I just realized I have very little space left for games...
Archiving last year's photo/video archive to the external drive to free up some space. Haven't even started with the 16GB game setup yet =/

Wondering if the hardware requirements for the Alpha are hard (will not install)?

I didn't know those still existed ;)

By a pure performance comparison, that card should get roughly 15-20% of the FPS for the recommended cards, so between 9 and 12 FPS if they were given for 60 FPS. Probably a bit lower in practice because the hardware itself is outdated. 5-6 FPS would be my wild guess.

I got a quad Core Processor, although two of them are virtual. I think.

A NVidia GTX 770 (If memory serves.)

Don't remember the rest.

That should be enough......1 hr & 14 minutes, counting down now.

Could take longer because it's not passing in real time.

Thanks- a minute after I posted, I received the email from Kickstarter with the details, but my post here was still pending moderation so I couldn't clear it up.

Already half a dozen problems and suggestions logged. Sshh, I'm supposed to be doing QA for my real job right now...

Well this much I know, I'm going to play keeping the grid-lock option in mind (which apparently isn't available in this alpha build). Watching Daekin's twitch stream right now.

Hi,

Is it possible to disable the motion blur in any config settings? All of my in game settings are lock so hoping it's possible manually in one of the ini settings.

The combat system wasn't immediately intuitive; I've only been half following the updates. Once I realized the various resources I was able to approach things more tactically, so that was nice. The central UI splitting the two halves also didn't make it clear that you could go from one half to the other; I didn't realize it was an option until I was looking to move my bard from the central column to the outside and realized the squares on the other half were also available.

Few things are as enjoyable as "Can I get through this? I bet I can get through this. Let's try to get through this."
