I'm glad because what I saw in this video you made significant progress since the beta, (for example the combat looked more interesting than it was in there) but that goat cannon looked pretty silly (okay, dumb); it's really out of concept imho. (Yeah, I see that it could be fun for 5 mins but after that? And it still doesn't make any sense at all)
If I understood right (reading the forum and older posts) there were similar "jokes" in the Wasteland 2 alpha/beta but you changed that after your backers found them silly. I'm not saying that my opinion should be that strong that you have to change this immediately but maybe you could update the beta where we could try the vehicle(s) (since it was only an option for the alpha) and give a feedback about this?

Goat cannon? Aw, mine only fires frozen ferrets. Are the goats fainting in any way? Are there milk explosions? Can the horns survive? Are the goats reuseabe? Can you sell the carcasses?
"You use a catapult and it's historical. You use a goat and suddenly it's 'cruel'."

I don't mind silliness such as this as long as it's on a take-it-or-leave-it-basis (e.g. completely optional weapons for your rangers or vehicles that you don't have to feel bad about skipping). Let the folks who like it enjoy their whacky stuff while those who prefer a more serious game can ignore it.

what about a wacky wasteland option like New Vegas where this stuff gets shoved into
I'd really rather not fire llving exploding goats at enemies, that's a bit far fetched for my nuclear wasteland experience
there's funny jokes and winks like finding the Necronomicon as a junk item, and there's this

I don't want to get too specific so as to offer any spoilers, but it's no secret that the survivors in this world make do with what they can get their hands on. This sometimes results in rather, "interesting" developments. That said, you'll have the freedom to control whether you wish to keep to more conventional means of dispatching your assailants, or experiment with some things not quite as well known to us in the 21st Century.

Ammo isn't plentiful so it makes sense to use animals or other objects like pumpkins or baseketballs.
