I'm new here and this is my first topic.
What do you consider to be the themes of the Wasteland series.
Does it have a singular theme or multiple themes that compliment each other.
I would like to hear your thoughts.

I think it has both singular, and multiple themes, depending on how hard you look. (focusing on WL1) Example, it's a RPG. There, that's your theme. Or you could claim it's a teeth-gritting uphill battle against massive unending foes. Man vs nature! Man vs animal! Man vs robot cop! It's as wild west as it is sci-fi.
I'm undecided about WL2. Is sequelitis a theme? Sure, it can be called adventure, but there's too much of, er, unpleasant events that tends to make it less Dirty Harry Comedy. Trying to bring law to the RSM and survive the adventure was soured by encountering the 'wrong genre'. WL2 can be hard to classify in places.
