Indeed, holiday season is behind us and we are starving for some news.

Yes, news. Proof that they arn't holding down 'real' jobs and coding WL3 is just a thing they do when not playing Numenera on the weekends.

Yes, how would the studio survive if every couple of month one person would write a couple of paragraphs to inform and engage the community as they have before. And btw, there are some studios that use Dev Diaries for more than just post-crowdfunding campaign annoyance and pre-release sales PR boost.

I wonder how much work it would take to make a fake update report? By the developers, not by us. Really, all it would take is two minutes phone-video ranting about how the breakroom toaster doesn't have enough slots, and how Bob is eating other people's lunches, and how Serpoids are taking up all the good parking spots. And a frame of a crashed Soviet satellite followed by more ranting on How Much Work this is to render and code and test. We're checking for a pulse here, man! The forum is live, but quiet. Really, all we have is one guy on the forum telling us that the programmers are programming. Between Bard, Mage, and Torment, how do we know if there's enough programmers to go around?

Dont get your hopes up guys judging from the past InXile does not really engage with the community i would expect seeing more frequent updates as soon as Bards Tale IV is further developed.

Hi Skoll, as I noted here, viewtopic.php?f=50&t=17785&start=20, there's an update in the works and we hope to have it out ASAP. Stewart and the WL3 team are hard at work, and we'll have a production check-in with them in the next update. The game is a long way's out so updates aren't necessarily going to be as frequent.

Anyways, you can use the above link to track the next update. Will lock this one down as duplicate.
