Gifting a pledge?

Post by SilentXero » December 27th, 2016, 1:30 am

Hello all,
Terribly sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but perhaps someone can clear something up;
I have already pledged for my own copy of the game but I would very much like to gift a friend a full 'All Digital Super Tier' package (not simply a Key for the final game as can be added or acquired in the 'bring your buddy' pledge), is this possible?
Will all the keys, etc be distributed directly via email and it would simply be a case of me passing them along?
Is there a way to acquire a singular key for the entire package that can be redeemed by my friend?
Or is there a way I can have the keys sent directly to my friend?
Is there anything to stop me simply pledging again for the same package?
If anyone could offer any info in regards to this it would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

A pledge is basically tied to an email address, so I guess you can open an email account somewhere (doesn't matter where), pledge using that account, and then give the password to the email account to your friend (or forward the email account to his own email).

But perhaps there is a more "official" way to do it...

Thanks folks.

I'll contact support for the official answer and report back here.
I'm sure I'm not the only person that wants to do this hopefully this can help others in future.

Many thanks.
