Companion actions in combat

Post by Curious_Jack » November 27th, 2018, 4:45 am

I'm not familiar with turn-based combat. Do I have to take control of each companion when it's his/her turn? I know fights can be avoided a lot of the time, and intend to do so as I find that more interesting, but I want to know how the system works. Thanks.

During combat, your companions will be available for you to control. Each companion has their own turn. They show up in the turn order at the top of the screen so you know exactly when they'll go next. :)

Thanks. Do I have to take control though, or will the companions act on their own, through the game's AI?

You control them directly.

Thanks for the information. That will take a bit of practice, but it's more fun to avoid combat anyway.
