Any chance of a Series-X update?

I haven't heard an official "development is wrapped" announcement for this title, so I'm not giving up hope...

Now that inXile is an MS studio, will the game be updated to support current-gen consoles, at least the Series X and S? It's a shame that it looks so great on PC with nice wide FoV and 100+ FPS, but switching over to the Series X feels like firing up the old Nintendo...
