[DC] Finite water supply at Ranger Citadel, Ag Center, elsewhere?

Post by viprit » February 28th, 2019, 12:13 am

I remember reading back when I was playing the original Wasteland 2 release that the oases out on the world map (as well as Ranger Citadel's well?) would run dry if tapped for water too many times. I believe it was based on the number of units extracted from each source, not the number of times a player interacted with the source.

Is this still the case in the Director's Cut? I understand that there's likely plenty of water, but I just finished the Ag Center and got access to the Citadel's improved weaponry and am planning to just roam the wasteland grinding cash and XP for a bit, so it'd be good to know if I should be rotating my water sources, etc.

I've never heard of this, and never experienced any shortages of water after letting Highpool get destroyed, so this does not seem to be something that affects the Director's Cut.
