Very interesting. Thank you very much for sharing this information. I'm not going to use Quattrocentro for all E-book viewing henceforth. Though I must say I'm a little underwhelmed by Septimus. kind of wished they'd of used something that sticks out a little more, like Exocet. At least Septimus and all the rest are very legible of computer screens. Thanks again for this little bit of info.sear wrote:Cinzel is used in-game for titles and headers - https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Cinzelanonymous6059 wrote:Also, I think Inxile needs to decide on a font. TToN needs a font that stands out but is still legible.
Titles and sub-headers use Quattrocentro (very similar to Septimus) - https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Quattrocento
The in-game text for conversation, etc. uses Quattrocentro Sans - https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Quattrocento+Sans

I really like the in game text font. Not much of a fan of the rest, but I did notice something that I was wanting to ask you about. If the logos use Septimus then why does the *O* in Tides *O*f Numenera have a dot in the middle?sear wrote:Cinzel is used in-game for titles and headers - https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Cinzelanonymous6059 wrote:Also, I think Inxile needs to decide on a font. On a side note I was wondering if we would be able to adjust the background color of the UI in the game? I'd really prefer to read black text on a wheat background color. Right now I'm using #fff7b4 and #F5DEB3 on my Tablet. Just wondering if this would be possible.

1. The Torment logo was stylized by the logo artist. It's not the exact same 1:1 font.anonymous6059 wrote:I really like the in game text font. 2. Not in the cards, probably. All the image files for the UI art are hand-colored. In theory it might be possible to extract the files, edit them in Photoshop and then re-add them to the Unity packages, but it'd be a pain.

Any chance of letting us have that really sweet Cursor from TToN? I'd love to use that instead of the plain white cursor. Anyone know how to get a hold of the old Planescape Scalpel cursor?

So what happen? No Tattoo art in the Concept art or the Artbook. Instead, I find several of the exact same pieces of concept art for the various maps being used in both rewards. I've got to say that I'm pretty disappointed here. I'd really looked forward to seeing The Tattoo artwork. Would you please give us a few drawings? pretty please? That would really be very nice of you. Maybe, a few wallpapers? Anything?tonurics wrote:Hey, it only happened because you asked.anonymous6059 wrote:Been going around all day saying that a developer personally made these just for me. Shhhhhh no one has to know better.
The torment symbol that you guys are trying to recreate, is referred to as "The Tattoo". There's some really cool Tattoo stuff that will probably make it into the Concept Art reward.
