If it's more than that then I missed a floor and will be forced to kill myself.
For those wondering, his reaction is exactly the same as if you had told him you'd read about 30 tombs.

I could only seem to visit three of them. I feel cheated.3522 tombs sounds like good adventure material.

Well, it's 625 rooms (1111 to 5555) and 3522 epitaphs to read (again, unless I accidentally skipped some...), to be specific. In retrospect, I should have documented the journey. if you're thinking about it, rest easy: it's not worth it.

... was there really nothing to it? Did you really go through with all of them and received absolutely zero?

Yep. And don't get me wrong, I love this game so far. It was almost more surprising than disappointing that there wasn't at least a slight dialogue change in Tantalum's reaction anywhere between 25 and 3500 tombs read.

There should've absolutely been something, anything. A cypher or some confirmation.

Dunno, some of the ones with epitaphs can be useful or amusing. But I'm not sure it was meant to be explored in full.

Thanks for the feedback! There is a line that will play once you've visited about 50 of them, but beyond that it caps out.
The writers did not create a line for visiting every single tomb... as there are thousands (due to thousands of backers being "interred"there), it wasn't expected that people would go to all of them. That you did definitely shows quite a bit of devotion!

Putting in a reward here would have been torture for those completionists doing replays. I'm going to side with the writers on no rewards here.

I totally agree that it shouldn't have a "tangible" reward (shins, a cypher, an ability, etc.) and it DEFINITELY shouldn't be an achievement. I was hoping more for a simple dialogue variant at any point beyond 50 read, at most a blue tide boost.

Tantalum says "Get a life." and explodes for 20 damage.

Tantalum is such a fun guy
hypocrite. Doesn't seem to have any semblance of meaningful life in the middle of nowhere.

Wow!
I would love it, if Tantalum would first laugh in your face and then try to bring you to go through all the tombs again by suggesting that he feels that "something has changed" in one of the tombs. He should say this for every 3522 tombs you click on, with no other change to the world.
