[spoiler] tidal affinity and the end

Hi ,
i was wondering if your tidal affinity actually has an impact on the end of the game ?

there are two paragraphs on what happened with your character depending on your dominant tides.

So if your character "dies" there's no impact at all...

Mine died (merged into the daugther of the Changing God) but I'm not sure how my deciscions (or tide for that matter) is refelcted in the endings of the different non-castoff npcs. I guess they have some influence over the flavour text? Sadly all that tiny text at the end gave me no real satisfaction. It didn't feel like I had overcome some grand obstacle.

Then again it usually is about the journey and not the destination, right? I'm just glad the game finally ended although I strangly thought that The Bloom was the rather more interesting part of the game. I wanted to stop playing multiple times during the nondescript mess that was Sangus but the game somewhat opened up somewhere in the middle and I kept going.
