Sticha Lair still buggy - workarounds?

Post by Aoret » April 28th, 2016, 2:45 pm

I've seen a couple bug fixes in patch notes for this, but ran into it two nights ago while playing. I'm curious if there are any workarounds as I don't have any older saves for my playthrough.

Bug is basically:
1) Convince the sticha to relocate
2) Enter the lair for the first time
3) Try to open the door nearest you after entering (bottom left hand corner of the screen)
4) Camera pans as though an event is about to trigger, then I'm stuck and have to kill the app.

Basically what I'm curious about is:
1) are there any workarounds to this freeze, or is that save file broken now?
2) if there are no workarounds... does anything important happen in the (abandoned) sticha lair that I need to care about for the story? or should I just not go in there and move on?

Very much appreciate any tips. Thanks! :)

Encountered this bug too. The only workaround for me was this:

1) First get into their lair
2) Activate that "event" near the door, it starts the crisis
3) Just run away from there
4) Convince the sticha to relocate
5) Now you can move through that place

I don't know that what's past the sticha lair is 100% necessary but it was definitely the route that I used for progression, and seems like kind of an important place. If you talk to mapper in the underbelly he can point to you in the direction of an npc you may otherwise struggle to find but he wants to know what's past the sticha lair. Said NPC seems pretty important to the plot to me but I haven't gotten much further than this myself.
