The bugs I'm getting do not let me leave the first encounter. There is no way to attack. It never highlight sinto an action.

Until It's Ready (TM) is the only kind of development process that I accept for this game.

Found this teaser. Glad to see they finally paid for a decent advertisement. The content is scarce but at least it looks good.

Rumor has it InXile entertainment team will be in the MCG booth at GenCon on August 4–7, 2016. I've also heard you can pick up a signed copy of The Explorer's Guide Hardcover too.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is headed to Gamescom 2016! For those of you attending this August, our leader in exile Brian Fargo will be attending along with several of our other team members, including Colin McComb, Chris Keenan, George Ziets and Thomas Beekers.

The game will be showing at the Techland booth in Hall 10.1. Additionally, on August 19th, Brian will be holding an autograph session at 3 PM, so we'd be thrilled for you to come on by to meet him and talk RPGs!

You can view Brian's video invite here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39rZWGkZX94

Well, I can now see why you had to ditch the Codex interview, it was critical for Torment's promotion to find the interview slot for prestigious Rocket Beans TV.

We just posted a roundup of some of the news coming out of Gamescom this year! https://torment.inxile-entertainment.co ... view&id=29
Torment: Tides of Numenera is headed towards its final day of Gamescom 2016 and things are beginning to wrap up, so we decided to give you a roundup of the events. We showed the game both on the entertainment area show floor as well as some brand-new content to press behind closed doors, and we've been thrilled to receive multiple Best of Show nominations, as well as the Best RPG award from French gaming site JeuxVideo.com!

Beyond that, we also of course met with hundreds of Torment and RPG fans at the event. The turnout has been incredible, with attendees meeting Brian Fargo, Colin McComb, Chris Keenan, George Ziets, Thomas Beekers, as well as the Techland publishing team.

We expect to see more news coming once the press has had a chance to pack up and head home, but for now we have a handful of video interviews featuring Brian Fargo and Colin McComb for you to enjoy. Hot topics include the new console release of the game as well as wrapping the game's development up in our home stretch towards release in early Q1 2017.

Hey, finally a competent interviewer! The previous two were horrible, but this girl knows her stuff.

Of course, haha. We pretty much always make sure to at least visit each other at conferences, and show off what we're up to. I got to sat in on a Divinity Original Sin 2 press demo (or part of it before I had to run to a meeting), it looked awesome! All they need to do is nerf the masks a little bit and it'll be ready for primetime :ugeek:

A few fun new pieces of media for the weekend!

First, there's a big Torment interview with Brian over at RPS that goes into quite a bit of detial on the game and talks about some of inXile's future plans: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/0 ... interview/

And second, Colin and George were at the Alienware booth at PAX West this weekend - you can watch them present an updated build of the game and hear Colin's dramatic reading of the game's intro: https://www.twitch.tv/alienware/v/87406189?t=01h35m24s

Third, MMORPG.com posted a preview of Torment from PAX West as well: http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game ... -CRPG.html

Last, TechArtGeek has a French preview of the game from Gamescom: http://www.techartgeek.com/geek/gamesco ... -numenera/

More news!

First up, we have a brand-new trailer from Techland introducing Torment and the Ninth World: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3Obg_hz_BM

And, Gavin has also penned a post on the official PlayStation Blog introducing the game to players who may not know about Torment or Numenera: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/09/ ... ng-to-ps4/

We recently polled on social media for questions from our fans, and we got a fantastic response - enough to make not one, but two videos! Here, we have Creative Lead Colin McComb and Senior Writer Gavin Jurgens-Fyhrie in part 1 delve into the answers. We'll have part 2 ready to show soon, so keep an eye out.

I'm just curious, why exactly didn't you ask the backers on the forum for questions?

The final part of our Q&A video series with Colin and Gavin is here! In this one they answer more questions from social media and fail to form a plan to escape the room they're in.

Mostly, it was a fast way to get lots of questions from a large number of users. We only had limited time both to get questions and for Colin and Gavin to record the video. We can certainly consider asking the forums in the future if we do any similar features later on.
