Finsters Brain

I need help. The PC i sent into his brain has been knocked unconscious. Now I can't seem to get back to that character. Is he lost now ?

So long as he's not diseased, you can probably switch views to the rest of the party and rest. Time passes for all when time passes for one.

Here's hoping that your PC is only "UNC" (unconscious)... nothing worse !
The 'passage' of time, with the party outside of Finster's 'brain', should allow you to restore his 'health' (CON) to the maximum. However, IF your PC was in "SER" or worse condition... the 'passage of time' is going to kill the PC... in which case yer screwed ! No way to "bury" the PC or get back any supplies the PC had (to my knowledge).

So you can only send one PC in? Does it have to be the PC with Cyborg Tech skill?

Technically... Yes... There can ONLY be one "character-at-a-time" AT A TIME inside Finster's Mind Maze !
After 'releasing the prisoners' from the lower level, Finster will 'return', or 'stay around', to be 'killed for his head'... necessary to "connect to the Mind Link machine"... just east of Finster's office.
Personally... thought it was a 'waste' of 3 SKP's to acquire "Cyborg Tech" skill, to be used only in 1 location. Found that it WAS possible for anyone (without Cyborg Tech) to 'enter the Mind Maze'... after using Finster's Head to 'connect to the Mind Link', ... just keep 'walking back onto the machine (possibly 15-20+ times) until you DO 'connect' !!!

Was always 'concerned' about getting 'injured' inside the Mind Maze... so, always used 'Pseudo-chitin' armor (1 is available in 'loot' from Spawn Masters & Spawn Wolves that 'spring up' in the lower level 'Spawning Area', when walking around some 'rocks' !).

IF NECESSARY... you might want to consider using a "Wasteland Character Editor" (to 'heal' Serious - Dead 'condition') or some Disk / File 'swapping' (to get a second character 'into the Mind Maze', to 'join-up' with the character already there !)
BUT strongly advise that you DON'T do this in Steam's "Wasteland 1 - Original Classic" !
Instead... 'copy' the GAME1 & GAME2" files to another location where the game IS playable !!!

All in your mind (all versions): If you like you can do the mind maze with two or more characters using disk/file swapping. Have a character enter the maze as usual, making sure the others are carrying the Secpass 7. Switch to the outside group, exit to the Darwin town map, then re-enter the base using a fresh disk 4 or Game2 file. Go and kill Finster again, get one more character inside the maze, repeat as desired. Once you're done with the maze, optionally restore your original disk or file.
