Companions of all ages & races

Post by McDougle » December 17th, 2012, 12:09 pm

Hi Inxile,

I figure we will get a heckload of differentiated companions. :)

Will we get a wide range of humans(elders, middle-aged, kids), synths, animals, mutated lunatics, robots etc.? :P

Absolutely. There is a pretty eclectic mix of CNPCs.

Please tell me someone else out there wants to get a cat companion with his own suit of cat armor? He wouldn't fight but just be a surly post-apoc tag-a-long. I get laughed at when I bring that up. Probably rightfully so.

Hey man, if Ultima can get away with Sherry the Mouse as a companion, you can do cats in suits of armor.

If we can live in a world of Land Sharks, Sir Mittens should be able to as well. ;)

If we go for animals... a mutated Caiman would be AWESOME! :)

Please note my Avatar :D

Any usage that infringes somewhat upon the old TMNT "after the bomb" and "mutants down under" ip is fine by me

(Just kidding obviously, I don't support any ip infringement  )

I'm just having visions of finding some cave paintings or something with an epic battle between a cat in armour and a landshark.

If you search the room, you find a small piece of armour with a sharktooth embedded in it. :D

Heman had Battle Cat.

I think feline companions are sorely lacking in videogames.

Yes, this game needs a cat companion in a cute little cat suit of armor :D. It can help with NPC interactions.
