There's a great looking RPG in development called Sacred Fire. It is set in a world inspired by Ancient Caledonia (2nd century Scotland). You play a character who is fighting against the Roman empire. The game has an interesting take on turn-based combat, which focuses on managing emotions of characters rather than the traditional focus of equipment and min-maxing stats. At first glance it may seem like a choose your own adventure, but how you build your character matters as your choices determine the probability of success. It's a bit hard to tell exactly how it will play out, but it certainly seems like something new and different. The game also has a really nice look and great sound track. Witcher fans may be interested to know that the game will feature Doug Cockle (VA of Geralt) as the narrator.

It is currently on Kickstarter and has reached it's base funding goal with about 35 hours left to go for some stretch goals (more character customization, and additional limited voice acting). PC/ Mac / Linux with a PS4 version planned after PC version is finished.
