Update #22 is out, this time showcasing some of the music (and the design philsophy behind it) for Stygian. There's also some fairly encouraging news about the "Special Backer Demo" that will be coming out in August (pushed back from July), and vague plans on expanding on both the demo and the originally planned content. Unfortunately, the wording of the update makes it sound like we won't get to learn much more until the demo goes live in four months.

Busy catching up with all my Kickstarter notifications, and it looks like I missed an update about Stygian. Apparently they released this one last month, showcasing the game's planned rest mechanic (which seems awfully similar to the camping mechanic from Darkest Dungeon) as well as a peek at the game's streamlined character screens.

Character creation makes this look very enticing. I already want to play this game 8 times, because every single Archetype looks like it would be a fascinating playthrough for different reasons.

The demo of this dropped with update #25.

Meeting my expectations so far.

Looking forward to playing the whole thing now :(
The biggest failure in the recent past is this assumption that the audience is not smart.Too much effort is being spent making it dummy proof..all the clues are being held right in front of their nose. The exploration and journey is the reward

That's great news. I backed it as well, but am waiting until it's done to play. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The backer demo is wonderful. Will really enjoy this one once it's released.

I'm just a little curious why Windows first tries to stop the launch, and then why, once launched, it starts giving sass to Windows Firewall for wanting access.

Also, a little bummed about the NDA, but meh.
