Changing weapon stats - or too much Brain Candy

Post by Yeti »

So .. not sure if I've been enjoying too much Brain Candy, and now have the jitters, or not

I could swear I'll loot a weapon item, think "ooh, nice. upgrade", only to then open the inventory and see that the damage rating has changed. When I say changed, it's changed to hat it was in the loot screen.

I guess I'll need to start writing the numbers down if I'm to be certain.

I believe the stats in the loot screen are the base stats, while looking in your inventory shows the stats as adjusted by Attributes and Skills.

Also, moved to the WL3 forum.

This topic loosely relates to my suggestion regarding the display of weapon/armor stats in their modded state. I think some more clarity in this department would do the game a lot of good.

Brain Candy: Science, Paradoxes, Puzzles, Logic, and Illogic to Nourish Your ... only due to the far-out facts themselves but also their unorthodox organization.
